About the role
- Design and build APIs and SDKs that power embedded insurance and retirement benefits for platforms worldwide
- Contribute to core APIs and SDKs: build new features and improve existing ones
- Work closely with senior engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews
- Improve developer experience by simplifying workflows into elegant APIs
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and integrations teams to deliver solutions
- Gradually lead projects, participate in incident response, and contribute to blameless learning culture
Requirements
- 3–5+ years building backend systems
- Experience with .NET (latest 8+), SQL databases, ORM frameworks, automated testing
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS
- Care about writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving skills
- Thrive in collaborative environments and work closely with product and design
- Motivated to grow into a senior engineer through mentorship and ownership
- Availability: At least 5 hours overlap with GMT working hours
