About the role
- Own Koinly’s content strategy end-to-end, set editorial standards, lead the content team, and ensure every piece drives clarity, trust, and measurable growth across all channels.
- Define and execute Koinly’s editorial agenda: Translate business goals into a high-impact roadmap covering SEO, product-led content, and thought leadership.
- Establish content pillars: Prioritize initiatives across the blog, website, YouTube, and social channels to ensure a balance of evergreen educational guides and high-conversion assets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Support to ensure a unified narrative across the entire user journey.
- Act as Editor-in-Chief: Enforce a high bar for quality, setting the "Gold Standard" for crypto-tax content through rigorous editing and brand-voice alignment.
- Partner with tax experts and accountants to ensure every piece of content is technically accurate, authoritative, and simplifies complex regulations.
- Oversee the lifecycle of content from brief to publication, including the creation of industry reports, comparison pages, and data-backed case studies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in content strategy and editorial leadership, specifically within B2B or B2C SaaS (fintech experience is a significant advantage).
- Editorial excellence: A portfolio that demonstrates "Gold Standard" quality: flawless C2/Native English, a sharp eye for tone of voice, and the ability to edit technical drafts into compelling stories.
- SEO as a second language: Deep expertise in keyword research, intent mapping, and executing content strategies that move the needle on organic rankings and traffic.
- Proven leadership: Experience managing and scaling a mix of in-house talent and freelance contributors. You know how to set SLAs, give constructive feedback, and build a high-performing culture.
- Operational rigor: You don’t just "publish"; you build frameworks. You are comfortable designing workflows, content calendars, and distribution systems.
- Data-informed mindset: You are comfortable with analytics tools and can translate raw performance data into a strategic "what’s next" for the roadmap.
