About the role
- Own growth metrics with clear accountability. You’ll be responsible for specific KPIs tied to user acquisition or activation — metrics that directly impact KOHO’s revenue and unit economics.
- Run experiments at high velocity. Design, ship, and iterate on growth initiatives weekly. Maintain a rolling experiment backlog with clear hypotheses and success criteria. Learn fast from failures.
- Build business cases grounded in data. Use quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and CAC/LTV economics to prioritize bets and defend investment decisions to leadership.
- Lead a cross-functional pod. Work with engineering, design, data, and marketing to ship growth initiatives. Align your team around a single mission and keep execution tight.
- Identify and reduce friction across the user journey. Whether it’s funnel drop-offs, onboarding bottlenecks, or underperforming growth channels — diagnose root causes and ship solutions.
- Design and scale growth loops. Think beyond linear funnels. Identify opportunities for compounding, product-led mechanics that reduce acquisition costs over time.
- Collaborate across the growth org. Work closely with the other growth pod to ensure the full user journey — from first touch to active customer — works as a connected system.
- Communicate strategy to leadership. Present growth strategy, experiment results, and roadmap decisions to executive audiences through quarterly strategy reviews.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on growth, activation, acquisition, or product-led growth at a consumer or fintech company.
- Track record of moving growth metrics — whether that’s conversion funnels, referral programs, onboarding flows, or acquisition loops. We want to see specific numbers you’ve moved.
- Deeply data-driven. You can write SQL when needed, design experiments with statistical rigor, and make decisions based on CAC/LTV modeling rather than intuition.
- High experiment velocity. You’re comfortable shipping multiple experiments per sprint, learning quickly from failures, and iterating without over-engineering.
- Cross-functional leader. You’ve led pods or squads (engineering, design, marketing, data) and know how to align a team around a single metric.
- Strong strategic communicator. You can articulate growth strategy to executives, write compelling business cases, and translate data into narratives that drive alignment.
- AI-native. You actively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) in your daily work — for analysis, writing, research, and prototyping.
