About the role
- Work with Product Managers to develop and refine product strategy and vision (not just ‘how it works, looks’ but ‘why it should be built’)
- Prepare wireframes, user flows, process flows, customer journeys and other artifacts to effectively communicate interactions and design ideas
- Work within an iterative design process: rapid prototyping, initiating user experience research, incorporating feedback, launching quickly and testing hypotheses in an agile environment
- Work as a part of an end-to-end product development team: collaborating early with and providing design direction to engineers, understanding technical requirements of what it takes to implement your designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence all aspects of the product from copywriting to lifecycle marketing
- Evangelize our Design-centric product development process, and act as a design mentor to other designers and cross-functional partners
- Leverage AI tools to streamline the design process, and uncover user insights
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience on Consumer-facing products, with a focus on Mobile, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- You communicate clearly and confidently, presenting your designs to a variety of audiences and articulating the rationale behind your decisions.
- You apply user-centric design principles with ease, following web and mobile design standards and best practices, whilst challenging the status-quo.
- You have a sharp eye for design and a deep understanding of how to craft intuitive, impactful user workflows.
- You enjoy collaborating with others and are passionate about solving real user problems together.
- You take initiative and navigate ambiguity with confidence, using your creativity and resourcefulness to find solutions.
- You excel at solving complex problems and pride yourself on being highly self-sufficient.
- You’re proficient in modern design tools like Figma.
- You incorporate GenAI into your design workflows to boost creativity and efficiency.
- You come prepared with a strong portfolio that showcases your product design skills and relevant experience.
- You’re well-versed in designing for consumer-facing products, particularly in the social, financial, or broader B2C space.
