• Lead the development of high-quality applications that are robust, observable and measurable using extreme programming (XP) practices
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle in collaboration with designers, product managers, and other engineers

Software Engineer

• Identify, evaluate, justify and implement process optimization initiatives, including distribution capacity expansions, labor performance programs, transportation optimization initiatives and system upgrades
• Base at Kohl's Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI; onsite Monday-Thursday with option to work remotely on Fridays
• Manage a team of Industrial Engineers responsible for optimizing supply chain processes
• Lead Logistics planning efforts, including capacity and network modeling and capital budgeting
• Assist with transportation optimization initiatives
• Oversee the design of distribution facilities, including new facilities, facility retrofits, conveyor changes and other material handling equipment changes
• Drive the IE team to identify, define and implement process improvement opportunities
• Address all aspects of change, including people, processes, systems and equipment
• Introduce and adapt improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
• Manage direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals per Company policies and practices
• Prepare and analyze unit plans and reports
• Provide leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise to achieve results
• Create an effective work environment by developing a shared vision, setting objectives, teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and open communications
• Develop staff through coaching, performance feedback, and development plans
