• Own the engineering operating system: tools, processes, vendor contracts, on-call staffing, and access reviews.
• Make hiring fast and consistent: own the end-to-end hiring process, interviewer calibration, onboarding, and role consistency across Engineering Managers.
• Drive cultural and operational change from decision to reality: lead Tech 2.0 rollout across shipping pace, customer proximity, and values embedding.
• Own engineering performance visibility: build and maintain the measurement infrastructure covering investment tracking, shipping pace, system health, and quality metrics.
• Support and sharpen the EM layer: facilitate the Tech Leadership Team, drive EM practice consistency, and own EM onboarding.

• Design bespoke training sessions, centred around the specific requests of customer schools
• Deliver engaging and interactive sessions to educators and students in a virtual format
• Develop a deep understanding of Kognity’s platform features
• Gather feedback from users on training sessions, and use data to modify sessions
• Work closely with the User Education Manager to collaborate on design, delivery, and feedback

• Own and elevate the end-to-end product design experience while leading a senior design function that reshapes how we create impactful, AI-driven learning products.
• Shape and influence product vision, strategy, and cross-functional decision-making, ensuring design is a core driver in how we build products in the AI era
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of senior product designers, building a high-performing design function that raises the bar on quality and impact
• Partner closely with Product, Tech, and Pedagogy leadership to define solutions and priorities, ensuring strong alignment between user needs, business goals, and learning outcomes
• Build and evolve scalable design practices and AI-enabled ways of working, increasing team efficiency, speed, and product quality
• Own the end-to-end design quality and user experience, focusing efforts on the highest-impact opportunities while defining how UX is measured and contributing hands-on when needed
