About the role
- Manage development of new product introductions and technical interactions of global engineering teams
- Monitor and control project progress and manage milestone schedules for NPI projects
- Administrate and manage stage and gate processes, documentation and milestone adherence
- Coordinate across departments and facilities while adhering to ISO, AS9100 and AS9145 compliance
- Serve as technical liaison between US-based engineering team and global engineering team for custom engineered to order opportunities
- Communicate with external customers regarding technical requirements
- Identify and resolve issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure successful project outcomes
- Planning, scheduling and reporting for projects and provide material and updates for senior management reviews
- Work closely with RF Engineers, RF Engineering Manager and Product Line Management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field required with a minimum of 5 years of related technical project management experience.
- Certified PMP or equivalent certificate preferred
- Experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with new product introduction lifecycle and stage gate process.
- Experience with wireless, RF, Microwave, or defense products and systems preferred
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Workfront, SharePoint etc.
- Meticulous attention to detail to manage complex tasks, documentation, and administrative procedures.
