About the role
- Own day-to-day management of all Knocking social channels and marketplace accounts.
- Oversee posting, scheduling, community management, and real-time engagement.
- Maintain social media content calendars across all accounts.
- Own the creation and production of social-first content across video, graphics, motion, and copy.
- Capture and edit content from shoots, events, podcasts, partner activations, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to surface, package, and amplify priority launches, products, and marketplace moments.
- Develop and evolve Knocking’s own social media strategy with a sharp understanding of: Business and startup culture, Commerce and e-commerce, Consumer products and brand stories, Media and entertainment landscapes, Creator economy and affiliate ecosystems, Omni-channel strategy & consumer behavior.
- Translate Knocking’s complex business model into clear, compelling content for Social Media.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of social media experience, ideally across both B2B and consumer-facing brands.
- String capabilities in Adobe Suite, Cap-Cut and Canva: video editing and graphic design for social media.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram algorithms, best practices, and growth strategy.
- Ability to work autonomously, juggle multiple accounts, and manage fast-turn deadlines.
- Excellent copywriting skills—concise, strategic, and on-brand.
- Strong visual taste and creative instincts.
