About the role
- Lead and participate in patching activities across diverse platforms including Windows, Linux, and third-party applications.
- Manage and mentor a team of patch management technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Develop and maintain patching schedules, policies, and procedures aligned with security and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate patch deployments and minimize operational impact.
- Monitor patch compliance and vulnerability remediation efforts, producing reports for leadership and audit purposes.
- Evaluate and implement patch management tools and automation strategies.
- Stay informed on emerging threats, vendor advisories, and industry best practices.
- Serve as a point of escalation for patch-related issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
- Support audits and assessments related to patching and vulnerability management.
Requirements
- Proven work experience leading a team providing IT customer support/services

- Familiarity with Security frameworks and compliance standards, I.e. Nist, CIS, PCI-DSS
- Knowledge of patch management tools, i.e. SCCM, WSUS, Tanium, NinjaOne , etc.
