About the role
- Lead, coach, and support the Tier 1 Advisory team to deliver high‑quality, consistent HR advice.
- Oversee workplace matters and case management, acting as the escalation point for complex or sensitive issues.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor case trends, risks, and performance metrics, providing insights and reporting to senior leaders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including policy refinement, process optimisation, and capability uplift.
- Support the delivery of HR projects, change initiatives, and advisory service enhancements.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration across P&C and the wider business.
- Promote a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and high performance within the team.
Requirements
- A Diploma in HR or a related discipline (Advanced Diploma or postgraduate study highly regarded).
- 3–5 years’ experience in HR, employee relations, or advisory roles, ideally at a senior or specialist level.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and case management processes.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Experience managing complex workplace issues, investigations, and dispute resolution.
- Proficiency with cloud‑based HR systems, particularly SuccessFactors, and case management platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Excel or Power BI to interpret trends and performance data.
- Experience leading or contributing to HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives, or change management activities.
