Document and standardize design, manufacturing, and testing of high voltage components and assemblies using industry standards, best known methods, and the newest technology
Design high voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements (dielectric selection, thermal management, noise suppression)
Conduct studies to ensure optimal performance and reliability of high voltage systems
Select and procure appropriate high voltage equipment, collaborating with suppliers and contractors
Prepare technical reports, maintenance strategies and supporting documentation, and accurate records
Integrate solutions into Semiconductor Inspection equipment focused on performance, reliability, and manufacturability
Conduct inspections and diagnose system issues
Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of high voltage systems
Establish and qualify external vendors and suppliers
Lead High Voltage Center of Excellence and support multiple divisions
Requirements
Analytical instrumentation
Semiconductor Capital Equipment working on the specialty equipment, not the mains
SEM/TEM
High Vacuum systems and High Voltage Vacuum Feedthroughs
Materials
Cable/connector specification, design, and testing
High voltage, or similar, working on electron beam technology
In-depth knowledge of precision high voltage system design, operation, and maintenance
Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., MATLAB; ANSYS or COMSOL are a plus)
Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, SEMI)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
