About the role
- Manage and drive the profitable growth of designated accounts within the designated area of responsibility
- Draw up and execute Account Development Plans in close collaboration with colleagues in sales, operations, quality, marketing and innovation
- Continuously ensure that customer visits are efficiently planned and carried out with the right level quality and on time
- Exploit, sell and deliver packaging solutions to customers - take full ownership of the sales pipeline process - including customer contact and engagement plans to create and build up strong multi-level customer relationships to win new business and ensure profitable sales
- Negotiate new customer contracts in line with NA FP guidelines and in close collaboration with the NA Sales Director and internal stakeholders
- Monitor, report and address competitor activities in the designated geographic area
- Support finance in forecasting volumes (tons/Th) and margin (CM1)
- Actively promote and sell new products and services
- Utilize and continuously update existing CRM- and BI tools to register and report on customer visits, status on business opportunities and next steps
- Constructively and proactively contribute to the overall positive development of the NA FP sales team – inform, collaborate and utilize the capabilities of the full team
- Continuously develop your individual sales budget in close collaboration with the NA FP Sales Director and deliver accordingly
- Proactively drive and implement price increases in line with NA FP guidelines and requirements
- Drive value selling - price and deliver packaging solutions accordingly
- Present the developed Packaging Solutions to your customers and visualize the value we create – meticulously apply the FP Commercial Handbook principles and ensure that customers perceive Klöckner Pentaplast as the leading Packaging Strategist in Food
Requirements
- Business- or Engineering degree
- Strong drive for results - willingness and excitement to seek and win new business
- Ability to develop and challenge customers – development and solution oriented with the desire to sell solutions rather to focus on price
- Positive and optimistic - pro-active and demonstrates a positive and team oriented approach to solving challenges
