About the role
- Improve and maintain IT landscape to meet needs of a fast-growing agile company
- Manage and maintain IT systems and provide technical support (1st & 2nd Level)
- Administer user life-cycle: user accounts, devices, permissions, access rights, and related software
- Monitor system performance; ensure reliability and availability of IT services
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures, backups, and disaster recovery
- Develop and implement incident response and disaster recovery plans
- Drive IT projects to enhance enterprise architecture and IT services
- Educate employees on IT best practices and security awareness
- Ensure continuous improvement of IT services and maintain documentation
- Stay up to date with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001)
Requirements
- Professional training or studies in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Network & System Administration or a related field, or comparable qualifications
- Significant years of experience in IT project management and IT service management
- Experience with methods and tools, ideally in an agile environment
- Professional skills in IT-Network, IT-Security, Server and Database Administration, especially in Apple ecosystem (installing, deploying, configuring, and administering macOS 12+, iOS / iPadOS clients)
- Knowledge of job automation, integration, or workflow management techniques and solutions
- Experience with IT service frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
- Proven experience in driving IT projects and enhancing enterprise architecture
- Experience in the administration of MS365 environments, Okta and SSO configurations to clouds such as GCP, AWS, Azure would be an advantage
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of independence
- True startup mindset; hands-on, driven, resilient
- Excellent command of English is necessary, and German is a big plus
