Joint responsibility with project managers for the financial success of the projects.
Support Project Managers with project forecast preparation, analysis & reporting
Challenge execution teams to mitigate/minimize potential deviations from budget via risk identification and quantification activities
Manage project financial projections (Estimates at Complete) and ensure any deviations from budget are clearly quantified and supported by root cause documentation
Contract review and performance monitoring to driving favorable financial results through Change Order management activities
Management of project working capital
Monthly presentation of project financial performance to VP/Director of project execution and creation of associated management reporting dashboards
Lead weekly pacing calls with PM’s to ensure monthly forecast commitments are delivered
Support ad hoc analysis & other duties as assigned to improve the performance of project controlling function

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in either a projects business or manufacturing plant (preferred)
Strong sense of ownership & accountability – with demonstrated ability to deliver success whilst working with an operational business partner
Personality to build relationships while comfortable challenging and pro-actively driving change
Inquisitive nature with exceptional analytical, critical reasoning, and communication skills.
Desire to understand the product/solutions and not just the numbers
Strong demonstrated use of SAP (or equivalent ERP), Excel and PowerPoint
Min. 4-year Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
