About the role
- The Director of CoC Functions works directly with the Chief Program Officer to oversee and manage a variety of projects, functions and workflows that are critical to the agency's role as the CoC lead entity.
- Manage Coordinated Entry and Lead Entity Role, monitoring KCRHA’s performance in administering Federal funds, and completing applications for Federal funding.
- Develop partnerships and collaborative relationships with other service systems.
- Support the engagement of people with lived experience of homelessness in KCRHA’s governance and program monitoring.
- Ensure the submission of high-quality applications for Federal funding and maintain relationships with innovators and partners in the sector.
- Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate the Continuum of Care's effectiveness and overall performance.
Requirements
- Fluency in equity and racial justice concepts and language, understanding their privilege and power, and bringing equity impact analysis to life in the context of their tasks.
- 7+ years of expertise in CoC and Coordinated Entry requirements, including five or more years of experience in positions managing the expenditure of CoC funds and/or operating coordinated entry systems.
- 5+ years of direct supervisory experience including mentoring, coaching, and supporting teams.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience in external affairs, strategic partnership building and/or program oversight.
- Proficiency/comfort using technology and data, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with government and community stakeholders in King County.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, in state and out-of-state.
- Experience in project management, operations and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills to manage a diverse workload, multiple demands, and deadline sensitive projects.
- A high level of customer service orientation and attention to detail, accuracy, timeliness.
- Ability to provide and accept feedback.
- Ability to work in and across several communication platforms, including social networks and cloud-based systems.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
