About the role
- Standardize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and Helm charts across 10+ microservices
- Build centralized logging, metrics, and alerting (currently a gap)
- Extend Terraform to cover full AWS infrastructure
- Improve deployment reliability: staging environments, rollback strategies, health checks
- Harden security: container scanning, secrets management, network policies
- Improve the local development experience (Docker Compose orchestration for all services)
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of professional DevOps / infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and Helm
- Production experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC (CloudFormation, Pulumi)
- Deep experience with AWS (ECR, EKS, App Runner, S3, CloudFront, IAM)
- Proficiency designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Track record building observability (logging, metrics, tracing) for distributed systems
- Nice to have: GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux)
- MLOps infrastructure (model serving, GPU workloads)
- Kafka operational management
- Cost optimization for cloud infrastructure
- Python/Bash scripting for automation
