Engineer

• Manage the electronic and network-layer integration of multi-component systems (LiDARs, thermal cameras, and telemetry sensors) into single-board edge computers (NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor/Orin)
• Configure and program embedded microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32) to ensure seamless hardware-layer execution and control
• Select, test, and deploy appropriate hardware adapters, signal converters, and power interfaces (e.g., PoE, serial converters) to link diverse hardware blocks
• Establish and configure low-latency data and video streaming links from cameras to onboard systems, defining and verifying exact data outputs, formats, and frame rates
• Configure and maintain onboard local networking architecture (switches, local routing, IP assignments) and low-level communication protocols (ESP-NOW, MQTT, Serial/UART, gRPC) dedicated to robot device telemetry
• Troubleshoot protocol conflict issues and signal drops between hardware endpoints and edge servers in the lab

• Configure and maintain lightweight container orchestration (K3s/Kubernetes) adapted for resource-constrained edge servers and local lab infrastructure.
• Establish automated, resilient data-ingestion pipelines to stream high-density field data updates back to local servers.
