About the role

  • Lead state adoption submissions and RFP responses from end to end
  • Ensure all deliverables are compliant, high-quality, and submitted on time
  • Drive operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Act as a player-coach: directly manage a portfolio of submissions while mentoring and guiding the team
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations to ensure alignment on strategy and messaging
  • Manage and grow a team of State Adoptions and RFP Writers
  • Leverage AI and innovate tools to elevate submission quality and efficiency
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and ensure strategic alignment of deliverables

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience managing a high performance team of adoption and RFP specialists in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional written communication and attention to detail
  • Deep expertise in K-12 Core Curriculum Adoptions submissions and RFPS
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building abilities
  • Proven operational excellence: able to build project plans, track deadlines, and manage complex workflows without dropping details
  • Demonstrated nterest in leveraging AI tools to improve submission quality and efficiency
  • High proficiency with common business software and ability to quickly learn new platforms
  • Direct RFP writing experience
  • Bonus, state adoptions submissions experience in core curriculum.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Monday.com, Slack, Loopio
  • Prior experience managing submissions for large urban school districts: New York City, Dallas, LA, etc.
