About the role
- Lead state adoption submissions and RFP responses from end to end
- Ensure all deliverables are compliant, high-quality, and submitted on time
- Drive operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Act as a player-coach: directly manage a portfolio of submissions while mentoring and guiding the team
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations to ensure alignment on strategy and messaging
- Manage and grow a team of State Adoptions and RFP Writers
- Leverage AI and innovate tools to elevate submission quality and efficiency
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail and ensure strategic alignment of deliverables
Requirements
- 5+ years experience managing a high performance team of adoption and RFP specialists in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional written communication and attention to detail
- Deep expertise in K-12 Core Curriculum Adoptions submissions and RFPS
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building abilities
- Proven operational excellence: able to build project plans, track deadlines, and manage complex workflows without dropping details
- Demonstrated nterest in leveraging AI tools to improve submission quality and efficiency
- High proficiency with common business software and ability to quickly learn new platforms
- Direct RFP writing experience
- Bonus, state adoptions submissions experience in core curriculum.
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Monday.com, Slack, Loopio
- Prior experience managing submissions for large urban school districts: New York City, Dallas, LA, etc.
