Lead state adoption submissions and RFP responses from end to end
Ensure all deliverables are compliant, high-quality, and submitted on time
Drive operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Act as a player-coach: directly manage a portfolio of submissions while mentoring and guiding the team
Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations to ensure alignment on strategy and messaging
Manage and grow a team of State Adoptions and RFP Writers
Leverage AI and innovate tools to elevate submission quality and efficiency
Maintain exceptional attention to detail and ensure strategic alignment of deliverables
Requirements
5+ years experience managing a high performance team of adoption and RFP specialists in a fast paced environment
Exceptional written communication and attention to detail
Deep expertise in K-12 Core Curriculum Adoptions submissions and RFPS
Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building abilities
Proven operational excellence: able to build project plans, track deadlines, and manage complex workflows without dropping details
Demonstrated nterest in leveraging AI tools to improve submission quality and efficiency
High proficiency with common business software and ability to quickly learn new platforms
Direct RFP writing experience
Bonus, state adoptions submissions experience in core curriculum.
Familiarity with Google Suite, Monday.com, Slack, Loopio
Prior experience managing submissions for large urban school districts: New York City, Dallas, LA, etc.
