Design and implement Salesforce architectures that support complex business and technical requirements.
Translate functional requirements into clear technical designs and implementation strategies.
Apply Salesforce design standards and architectural best practices to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
Evaluate declarative versus programmatic approaches and recommend the most effective solution based on engagement scope.
Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation artifacts required for delivery and handoff.
Provide technical estimates and input to support delivery planning.
Build and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and configuration.
Review code and implementations to ensure alignment with defined technical standards and solution designs.
Support deployments and releases across Salesforce configuration, Apex, APIs, Visualforce, and AppExchange.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during implementation.
Design and support integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems.
Contribute to API design, data modeling, and orchestration strategies.
Implement or support integrations using middleware tools such as MuleSoft and Python-based services.
Ensure data integrity, system boundaries, and integration contracts are clearly defined and documented.
Collaborate with Kicksaw delivery team members to support cohesive solution delivery.
Participate in technical discovery sessions and architecture discussions with client stakeholders.
Communicate technical designs, decisions, and recommendations through client-facing meetings and documentation.
Provide technical guidance within the scope of assigned engagements.

Requirements

5–8+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of Salesforce development.
Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce architecture, configuration, and custom development.
Proficiency in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, APIs, and Salesforce data and security models.
Experience designing and implementing integrations using MuleSoft, Python, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as SFDX and GitHub.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with client stakeholders.
Proven ability to operate independently in consulting environments.
Applicable Salesforce Certifications preferred.
