About the role
- As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Sales is responsible for the performance of the sales team.
- Ensure continuous alignment between sales targets, company vision and growth priorities, working closely with the President.
- Drive results with rigor by adjusting strategies according to market realities.
- Mobilize the team through clear leadership to meet and exceed targets.
- Be present in the field, support representatives and actively contribute to prospecting and client retention.
- Identify growth opportunities and deploy appropriate commercial strategies.
- Monitor performance, coach the team and continuously adjust actions.
- Optimize sales tools and processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between teams and contribute to strategic planning.
- Recruit, mentor and develop the sales team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure their satisfaction.
- Monitor financial results, manage budgets and support the profitability of commercial activities.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, management or a related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience managing a sales team in IT services or B2B.
- Proven experience in sales within SMB-focused IT or software development.
- Good knowledge of the IT consulting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a budget and track performance indicators.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience with ConnectWise (a strong asset).
- Valid driver’s license for client visits.
- Fluent written and spoken French.
- English is required, as some clients are English-speaking.
