About the role
- Leads a team responsible for the strategic direction, development, management and execution of consumer products to drive profitability while maintaining a moderate risk profile
- Directs the team in leveraging industry research, competitive information, alternative sources of data, and analytical insights to identify profitable clients
- Partners with leaders from digital, analytics, underwriting, technology, marketing, asset quality, and risk management
- Manages teams to identify and solution product and system inefficiencies that impact client acquisition
- Owns risk as a member of the first line of defense
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Equivalent Work Experience (required)
- Master's Degree (preferred)
- 10+ years Experience in the financial services or comparable industry (required)
- 10+ years Experience in Product Management, Community Development, Marketing, and Communications with an emphasis on compliance and risk management (preferred)
- Experience with product roadmap development including deploying, developing, and testing new product capabilities
- Superior influencing, consulting, and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to successfully interact with and relate complex technical information to less technical audiences in common business terms
- Proven leadership experience with an ability to establish a culture while driving business outcomes and managing risk
- Strong business, technical and analytics acumen and experience working with senior leaders and partners to drive business results
