About the role
- Develop and execute the insurance strategy for KeyCorp and its subsidiaries.
- Design and procure insurance programs, manage relationships with stakeholders, oversee claims management, ensure compliance with risk management policies.
- Provide risk management expertise and guidance to ensure relevant risks are adequate covered by insurance and/or alternative risk management mechanisms.
- Supervise a small team and mentor personnel in Corporate Insurance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance, finance, business administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in large-lines insurance, including executive risks, with at least some experience in insurance risk management.
- Strong leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to develop teams and create partnerships.
- Understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts and their applicability to insurance.
- Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with a risk management information system such as Riskonnect.
- Travel up to 5% – International travel required.
