We are seeking a competitive and highly motivated Sales Engineer to expand our team.
The Industrial Refrigeration Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients within the food and beverage industry.
The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise in refrigeration systems to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
This is a client-facing role that requires a strong understanding of industrial refrigeration systems, market trends, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical decision-makers.
The position reports directly to the VP of Sales.
Requirements
Candidate must have a **mechanical engineering degree** or equivalent.
A Professional Engineering certification (PE) or EIT certification is a plus.
The individual should have strong technical and **mechanical knowledge of industrial or commercial refrigeration systems**, including ammonia, freon, or CO2 systems.
The individual should also possess problem solving skills to identify client refrigeration issues and convert them into sales opportunities.
Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients.
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
Experience with AutoCAD
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
