About the Job
As the Senior Project Manager, Team Lead, you will own planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for critical, multi-stakeholder projects while also supervising and developing a team of project managers. You will drive operational excellence by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and ensuring consistent application of project management standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Own the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
Lead risk assessment, mitigation planning, and issue resolution for critical initiatives
Maintain clear communication with project sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables when applicable
Supervise, mentor, and develop project managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Assign resources based on skills, capacity, and project priorities
Ensure project management standards, tools, and templates are consistently applied
Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and implement process improvements
Lead process improvement projects using structured problem-solving and data analysis to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and impro
Requirements
8+ years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or team lead capacity
Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale projects in complex, cross-functional environments
5+ years of experience conducting process improvement and gap analysis initiatives
Excellent team-building, coaching, and mentoring skills
Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
Ability to remain calm, decisive, and solutions-focused under pressure
Experience collaborating closely with development, engineering, network operations (NOC), and security operations (SOC) teams
Familiarity with DevOps principles, cloud platforms, and ITIL best practices
Advanced project management certifications such as PgMP, PfMP, CPM, PMI-ACP, or PMI-RMP
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or higher
Proven track record in cybersecurity and enterprise IT environments with regulatory compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, IL5)
Experience leading transformation programs, technology rollouts, or operational process re-engineering
Proficiency with Jira Portfolio for project management
