About the role
- Trend Spotting & Editorial Strategy
- Culture & Trend Amplification: Work in close collaboration with local social teams, XFN teams, and agencies to identify culture and content trends.
- Editorial Planning: Develop regional Shorts editorial strategy and plan for Shorts, working with the local teams and continuously improve editorial plans for APAC YouTube social channels.
- Creative Development: Develop amazing, innovative creative ideas that people love sharing, ensuring a 'Social-first' approach.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) & Campaign Management
- Integrated GTM Execution: Bring to life comprehensive go-to-market plans for Shorts content across a full ecosystem, including owned social channels, earned media, paid social and influencer.
- Social & Influencer Campaigns: Develop and execute dedicated social and influencer go-to-market plans and campaigns designed for Shorts.
- Agile Execution: Demonstrate a bias for action and execution, managing campaigns with agility to adapt to the fast-moving social landscape.
- Analytics, Innovation & Stakeholder Management
- Data Storytelling: Work with data to tell a good story. Create and deliver compelling presentations that excite global, regional, and cross-functional stakeholders, as well as external partners.
- Experimentation & Growth: Drive constant experimentation and innovation by identifying breakthrough opportunities through internal and external data.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze successes, failures, and learnings from initiatives to define the 'way forward' and continuously optimize strategy.

- Creative & Strategic Balance: Ability to develop creative ideas while maintaining a strategic view of product goals.
- Data Literacy: Strong ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and persuasive narratives.
- Communication: Excellent presentation skills, capable of influencing key stakeholders and partners.
- Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong ability to pivot based on trends and data.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, PR, Media) and external agencies.
