About the role

  • Lead Proposal Development: Drive the proposal lifecycle, including organizing and facilitating kickoff meetings, developing outlines, establishing schedules, and coordinating team activities.
  • RFP Analysis: Review and interpret Request for Proposal (RFP) and related solicitation documents to ensure clear understanding of requirements and compliance.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical, management, and past performance information that showcases KeenLogic’s capabilities and tailored solutions.
  • Editing & Quality Assurance: Edit, revise, and proofread proposal sections for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with requirements.
  • Review Management: Oversee color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold, etc.), track feedback, and integrate revisions to strengthen the proposal.
  • Production & Delivery: Coordinate final production, including formatting, version control, printing, binding, electronic submissions, and shipping, as needed.
  • Proposal Assets Management: Develop, maintain, and organize proposal templates, graphics, boilerplate text, and a proposal content library to increase efficiency.
  • Post-Proposal Analysis: Conduct debriefs and lessons-learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and apply insights to future proposals.
  • Market Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, procurement regulations, and competitor activity to enhance proposal strategies and competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing federal, state, or commercial proposal efforts.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting, proposal best practices, and compliance standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, English, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Skilled in editing, compliance checking, and storytelling within proposals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with proposal automation tools a plus.
  • Attributes: Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to shifting requirements.
