About the role
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for complex, high-volume, and/or specialized roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for critical and future hiring needs
- Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and hiring recommendations to Senior Leadership and HR Director
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and diversity hiring initiatives
- Track recruiting metrics, analyze hiring data, and recommend process improvements to enhance recruiting efficiency and effectiveness
- Mentor junior recruiters and coordinators, providing guidance on sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques, and candidate management
- Support employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and industry functions
- Partner with HR and Senior Leadership on workforce planning and strategic hiring initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting in a specialized industry (e.g., technology, healthcare, government contracting, security, finance)
- Strong interviewing, sourcing, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements
- Experience mentoring junior recruiting staff
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar)
- Experience with data analytics and recruiting metrics reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills
- Creative recruitment and retention strategies.
