About the role
- KBR executes a contract for the US Army to provide Maintenance and Logistics services for the Army’s War Stock set #3 (APS-3)
- The Maintenance Technical Analyst serves as the contractors MTR (Maintenance Technical Representative) who receive assignments or technical direction from the Maintenance Manager
- This person performs in-depth research and analysis of workload requirements to assist with forecasting and planning of warranty, safety message, and modification work order parts and other compliance needs
- This person will periodically observe and critique maintenance activities and associated documentation for verification of compliance with the application of provided procedures to ensure proper, accurate, and consistent data reporting
- This person vigorously enforces the standards for validation of disposition turn-in documents, and using applicable forms, prepares deviation and waiver submissions to be presented to the customer as required
- This person will coordinate and schedule maintenance actions with external contractors to facilitate warranty repairs as required
- The Maintenance Technical Analyst is the curator for all technical information and administrative publications relating to maintenance support requirements not readily available through the Technical Librarian
- This person standardizes cataloging of reports, manuals, and related technical material concerned with work methods, procedures, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment
- This person will actively monitor relevant publication sites and is responsible for providing timely notification of changes in technical direction
- Additionally, this individual will participate in drafting materials regarding recommended improvements of work methods and procedures
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access
- Must be able to meet government-specified requirements for deployment
- Must be able to work on-site
- Working knowledge of GCSS-Army and strong communication and computer skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft office suite, particularly MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-Power BI
- High School diploma: college completion/military service viewed favorably
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or 5 years of applicable specialized military or military contracting experience can be used in lieu of formal post high school education on a one-to-one basis
- 2 years’ related experience in fields involving U.S. Army production, maintenance, logistics, supply, or record keeping using automated systems
