About the role
- Develop and implement a multi‑year sector strategy to expand KBR’s market presence and drive profitable growth.
- Lead business development, identify new opportunities, and secure new contracts—often personally acting as Project Director or Bid Leader for strategic pursuits.
- Build and sustain relationships with senior‑level government and private‑sector stakeholders, representing KBR as a thought leader within the industry.
- Oversee the successful delivery of the buildings project portfolio, ensuring commercial, risk, schedule, safety and client‑satisfaction outcomes are achieved.
- Shape a high‑performance culture, attract and retain top talent, and champion KBR’s values across our Australian offices.
- Drive financial performance, ensuring revenue, job income, overhead recovery, and business unit income targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Proven credibility in the buildings sector or broader property or built environment, ideally at the executive level.
- Capability to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary teams across multiple states.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including P&L accountability.
- Demonstrated success in strategy development, client engagement, and winning significant work.
- A track record of delivering complex projects and navigating risk in high‑value portfolios.
- Advanced leadership capabilities including influencing, inspiring others, facilitating change and coaching teams.
