About the role
- Directs the overall program management of the external visibility function for the CTO.
- Engaged in technical and/or non-technical innovation portfolios throughout the organization.
- Define and execute the long-term vision for the program, ensuring alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) mission objectives and innovation goals.
- Lead high-level engagement with industry partners and the commercial technology market.
- Utilize market intelligence to identify emerging technologies and potential partnerships that enhance program capabilities.
- Oversee external visibility program aligned to CTO vision with engagement across the leadership of the organization.
- Bridge the gap between commercial technology advancements and government requirements.
- Direct involved with CTO and organization leadership to ensure program execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) is required.
- Minimum of 18+ years of functional and technical innovation experience in related areas (Defense, Innovation, Acquisition, or Strategic Growth).
- At least 12 years of specific functional or technical innovation experience.
- Proven experience navigating the DoD ecosystem, with a strong ability to translate commercial technology market trends into government engagement strategies.
- Active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Master’s degree in engineering or business (MBA) is preferred.
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility is preferred.
