About the role
- Be a product expert on K4B, including features, integrations, limitations, and roadmap direction
- Lead technical and product discovery with upcoming and prospective customers to understand corporate travel needs, workflows, and constraints
- Deliver tailored demos to prospective and upcoming customers, showing how K4B’s capabilities meet policy controls, restrictions, traveler experience, and integration needs
- Design solution recommendations that align customer requirements with K4B product capabilities
- Translate customer needs into clear product and technical requirements for internal teams
- Collaborate with Product Managers to validate use cases, identify gaps, and structure roadmap priorities
- Partner with Engineering to assess feasibility, development effort, technical tradeoffs, and implementation approaches
- Support pilots and technical evaluations post sale prior to customer onboarding
- Own the scope handoff to Implementation team, documenting solution context, requirements, and success criteria
- Participate in internal handoff meetings to align on scope, timelines, and risks prior to customer onboarding
- Help define implementation paths, onboarding plans, and success criteria prior to deal close
- Represent customer needs in internal discussions
- Contribute to improving demo environments, documentation, and pre-sales tooling
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role supporting B2B or SaaS products
- Experience in corporate travel, expense management, or travel management platforms
- A track record of quickly learning products and confidently representing them to customers
- Strong experience demoing products to business, technical, and executive stakeholders
- Ability to conduct consultative discovery and map business needs to product solutions
- Solid understanding of web technologies (APIs, integrations, authentication, data flows)
- Comfort discussing system behavior and architecture at a high level
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales and Engineering teams
- Experience supporting enterprise customers or complex sales cycles
- Clear communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- A collaborative, problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Familiarity with policy enforcement, reporting, or enterprise workflows
- Experience with integrations into HR, SSO, or expense systems
- Ability to read or write code (Java, JavaScript, SQL, etc.)
