• Du arbeitest marktplatzrelevante Themen für unsere Außenkommunikation auf und lieferst damit eine wichtige Informationsquelle für Interessierte Händler

B2B Marketing Manager – Elternzeitvertretung

• We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our platform teams.
• This team plays a critical role in shaping and optimizing our internal platforms, focusing on Identity & Access Management (IAM), mailing services, and our backend architecture.
• As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a highly skilled team that defines the technical foundation of our company.
• The team’s main responsibilities include: Shaping the backend architecture: Providing guidelines and best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient backend development
• Maintaining and evolving our shop monolith to keep it up to date with modern standards
• Developing tooling and boilerplate code to empower other teams to build and manage backend services as easily and efficiently as possible
• Mailing services: Maintaining and improving an existing mailing service that handles email templating and delivery. Ensuring the service remains stable and adaptable to new requirements
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Supporting teams by providing a project-based IAM solution that product teams can deploy independently
• In this role, you will initially focus on hands-on technical tasks allowing you to gain a deep understanding of our infrastructure and system so that you know the code inside and out. Later, you will also take over managerial tasks and act as the people manager for the team.

• Building, developing, and enabling high-performing teams that deliver outstanding products is the primary responsibility for our Engineering Managers.
• You are passionate about software development, but you find even more fulfillment in building the right team, removing obstacles, supporting others, and creating transparency and alignment rather than being an individual contributor.
• Based on your experience, you will start by leading the engineers of one product team in a you-build-it-you-run-it environment, with a clear prospect to expand to multiple teams as your responsibilities and impact grow.
• Depending on team size and setup, you will remain reasonably hands-on, especially where technical guidance, architectural decisions, code reviews, or complex problem-solving are required.
• You will help our engineers grow both personally and professionally — not only by advancing their skills, but also by inspiring them with purpose.
• You will ensure our product teams leverage (new) technologies to build products customers love and that deliver business value.
• You are accountable for the delivery and reliability of your teams’ products, balancing scope, quality, performance, and operational stability in a high-traffic B2C environment.
• You will contribute to strategic initiatives that extend beyond your team(s), such as raising the engineering bar, improving guidelines, and defining how we work as an organization.

• Develop cutting-edge technology and design scalable, robust backend solutions for our Kaufland marketplaces as part of your daily work
• Own end-to-end feature development, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and production monitoring
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other engineers, communicating effectively to reach shared goals
• Contribute to the evolution of our development processes and methodologies by exploring new tools and technologies that enhance our engineering practices
