About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You automate complex business processes reliably and maintainably using tools such as n8n
You design, create, and optimize AI agents using modern LLMs and associated tooling (prompting, retrieval, evaluation/guardrails, RAG)
You partner with business teams to analyze, redesign, and automate new and existing processes from discovery through rollout
You collaborate with our Center of Excellence for Automation to propose, prioritize, and lead initiatives that advance our automation and AI platforms
You work cross-functionally with technical experts, product managers, and business stakeholders to share best practices, document patterns, and enable self-service automation across the company

Requirements

What you’ll need

Comfortable scripting in JavaScript for n8n Function nodes or with equivalent programming experience (foundational programming skills, Python experience, etc.)
Experience with automation/orchestration tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar
Comfortable integrating SaaS applications and internal systems via APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and event-driven patterns
Proficient with APIs and data manipulation: JSON, REST, SQL for joins/aggregations, and occasional regex
Experience with prompt engineering and building AI agents is a plus
Strong communicator able to explain trade-offs to both business and engineering stakeholders and to produce concise documentation and playbooks
Enjoy working in an international environment and fluent in English (C1); good German skills (B2) are a plus
