About the role
- Achieve 100% of monthly, quarterly, annual sales plan.
- Uses effective time management skills to visit customers and / or potential customers.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of products and services.
- Manage existing customers and acquire new customers in the assigned territory.
- Plan and develop the market for existing and new products in accordance with company goals and objectives.
- Drive demand for products by attaining approvals and gaining exposure to healthcare providers.
- Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers.
- Attend team sales meetings, training meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required.
- Analyze and report market and business feedback using available support tools.
- Represent company values and integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
- A minimum of 5 years of recent sales, or equivalent related work experience.
- Registered Dietitian preferred.
- Possess a proactive attitude, initiative, and drive.
- Must possess computer skills with a keen understanding of business software such as, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documents, email, and calendar.
- Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.
- Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment.
- Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings on occasion.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
- Outgoing, positive, and willing to contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
- Superior negotiating and influencing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen ability to listen and follow-up effectively and diplomatically with all staffing levels and customers.
- Must have a vehicle maintained in good working order, current valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance documentation.
