About the role
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visual analytics.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
- Work with data sources from relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reports and dashboards.
- Create and maintain data models, calculated fields, parameters, and sets in Tableau.
- Develop data-driven insights and KPIs to support decision-making processes.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and report generation for business teams.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing dashboards for better usability and performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers and ETL teams to ensure smooth data flow and accessibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience as a Tableau Developer / BI Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced level) for querying, joins, aggregations, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, or Tableau Cloud.
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and UI/UX principles for dashboards.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
