About the role
- preparation of SEC reporting package for Form 10-Q, 10-K and 8-Ks
- documentation of technical accounting matters
- prepare required weekly and monthly lender reports
- own areas of the monthly close process
- preparation of journal entries, accounting calculations and account reconciliations
- review journal entries and account reconciliations performed by others
- work across team to streamline processes
- support cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- coordinate and collaborate with internal and external auditors
Requirements
- BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)
