About the role
- Act as the Workday Integration Architect, owning integration architecture and design decisions
- Design and implement end-to-end Workday integrations supporting Hire-to-Retire processes (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time, etc.)
- Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Core Connectors
- Design inbound and outbound integrations, including data extraction, transformation, and delivery to middleware systems
- Integrate Workday with cloud and API platforms, including GCP and APIGEE (APG)
- Lead and support migration initiatives, including tenant migrations and legacy system integrations
- Define and enforce integration standards, error handling, monitoring, and security best practices
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to Workday integration developers
Requirements
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with 7+ years of hands-on Workday experience
- Proven experience as a Workday Integration Architect or Senior Workday Integration Consultant
- Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Experience with data extraction and outbound integrations from Workday
- Solid understanding of Hire-to-Retire (H2R) business processes
- Experience integrating Workday with middleware platforms
- Hands-on experience with GCP and APIGEE (APG)
