Lead and grow a team of Ruby on Rails engineers while remaining deeply engaged in the technical direction of our platform.
Own delivery for core product initiatives, ensuring work is well-scoped, prioritized, and executed.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and business stakeholders to align engineering execution with company goals.
Improve reliability, observability, and incident response practices.
Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and deployment processes.
Identify and drive initiatives to reduce technical debt, improve performance, and strengthen platform security.

Requirements

Experience managing and developing software engineers, including senior-level engineers.
Strong understanding of Ruby on Rails architecture (MVC, ActiveRecord, Sidekiq) and how to build and scale production systems.
Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, including well-structured endpoints, authentication/authorization, and consistent response patterns.
Solid grasp of data modeling and performance using PostgreSQL and ActiveRecord.
