About the role

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of external financial reporting
  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support quarterly debt compliance reporting and annual filings
  • Monitor evolving accounting standards and assess impact to the business
  • Serve as the technical accounting expert for complex transactions including leases, equity, cloud computing arrangements, impairments, and other non-standard transactions.
  • Draft and maintain technical accounting memos and policies.
  • Partner with Legal, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax on strategic initiatives and accounting implications.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for corporate entities.
  • Ensure accurate accounting for intercompany transactions, allocations, and consolidations
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure SOX compliance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing technical accounting team.
  • Drive improvements across reporting, systems, and internal controls.
  • Partner closely with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and senior leadership on financial analysis, disclosures, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting expertise
  • Experience leading financial reporting and close processes
  • Background supporting audits and SOX environments
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with finance and business teams
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to scale processes
  • Experience in SaaS or high-growth environments preferred.
