About the role
- Care and support for older adults with mental health conditions (e.g., dementia, depression, schizophrenia)
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation for challenging behaviour
- Guidance and support of the nursing team in working with gerontopsychiatric residents
- Participation in care planning and quality development in the field of gerontopsychiatry
- Individualised care: you design care that truly reaches our residents
- Daily living support: you assist with empathy and initiative
- Competent medical care: you carry out medical orders reliably and keep important vital signs under observation
- Collaborative teamwork: you work closely with a committed and excellent team
Requirements
- Completed training as a nurse (generalist) or an equivalent basic nursing qualification, e.g., geriatric nurse, health and nursing nurse
- Completed further training as a gerontopsychiatric specialist—or willingness to undertake this qualification
- Empathetic, communicative, reliable, a team player, respectful and appreciative, and committed to modern, professional care and support
