About the role

  • Provide care and support for our residents in accordance with individualized care plans and with consideration for their wishes and needs
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, therapists and family members to ensure the best possible care and to foster a trusting relationship
  • Implement our organizational approach(es) for working with people living with dementia to ensure respectful, needs-based care
  • Provide collegial advice and support to our staff in specialized care to jointly achieve consistently high care quality
  • Conduct internal training on relevant topics to continuously expand the team’s expertise
  • Actively participate in quality circles and working groups to continuously improve care processes
  • Carry out life‑story work in close cooperation with the primary caregiver to respectfully integrate residents’ individual histories
  • Contribute to the creation of a homelike and appealing environment in the facility to meet the needs of our residents

Requirements

  • Completed training as a qualified nursing professional (m/f/d)
  • Completed further training as a gerontopsychiatric care and support specialist according to AVPfleWoqG — ideally with relevant professional experience
  • Empathy and sensitivity in working with our residents
  • Reliability and team spirit — you enjoy working hand in hand with colleagues and actively contribute to the team
  • Flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility — you are willing to adapt to different needs and situations
  • Motivation and willingness to learn — you are open to further training and want to continuously develop
