About the role
- Care and support for older adults with mental health conditions (e.g., dementia, depression, schizophrenia)
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation for challenging behaviours
- Guidance and support for the nursing team in working with gerontopsychiatric residents
- Participation in care planning and quality development in the field of gerontopsychiatry
- Individualised care: you design care that effectively meets the needs of our residents
- Assistance with activities of daily living: you provide support with empathy and initiative
- Competent medical care: you carry out physicians' orders reliably and monitor important vital signs
- Collaborative teamwork: you work closely with a committed and excellent team
Requirements
- Qualification as a registered nurse (generalist) or an equivalent basic nursing qualification
- Further training as a gerontopsychiatric specialist or willingness to complete such training
- Empathetic, communicative, reliable, team-oriented, respectful and appreciative
- Commitment to a modern and professional approach to care and support
