About the role
- Care and support for elderly people with mental health conditions (e.g., dementia, depression, schizophrenia)
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation in response to challenging behaviour
- Guidance and support for the nursing team in handling gerontopsychiatric residents
- Participation in care planning and quality development in the gerontopsychiatry area
- Designing individualised care
Requirements
- Qualification as a Registered Nurse (generalist) or equivalent basic nursing qualification
- Additional training as a gerontopsychiatric specialist or willingness to complete such training
- Empathetic, communicative, reliable, a team player, respectful and appreciative
- Commitment to providing modern and professional care and support
