About the role
- Provide care and support to our residents in accordance with individual care plans, taking into account their wishes and needs
- Collaborate with general practitioners, therapists and relatives to ensure the best possible care and to foster a trusting relationship
- Implement our company's care concept(s) in dealing with people with dementia to ensure respectful and needs-based care
- Provide collegial consultation and support to our staff in specialized care to jointly maintain the highest quality of care
- Conduct internal training on relevant topics to continuously expand the team's expertise
- Actively participate in quality circles and working groups to continuously improve care processes
- Carry out biographical work in close cooperation with the primary nurse to respectfully integrate the individual life stories of our residents
- Contribute to the design of the facility's living environment to create a homely and attractive atmosphere that meets the needs of our residents.
Requirements
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (m/f/d)
- Completed further training as a gerontopsychiatric care and support specialist according to AVPfleWoqG — ideally with corresponding professional experience
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with our residents
- Reliability and team spirit – you enjoy working hand in hand with colleagues and actively contribute to the team
- Flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility – you are prepared to adapt to different needs and situations
- Motivation and willingness to learn – you are open to further training and want to continuously develop professionally
