About the role
- Care and support of our residents in accordance with individual care plans, taking their wishes and needs into account
- Collaboration with general practitioners, therapists, and relatives to ensure the best possible care and a trusting relationship
- Implementation of our company concepts for working with people with dementia to ensure respectful, needs-oriented care
- Collegial consultation and support of our staff in specialised care to jointly achieve the highest quality of care
- Delivery of internal training on relevant topics to continuously expand the team's professional knowledge
- Active participation in quality circles and working groups to continuously improve care processes
- Conducting life-history (biography) work in close cooperation with the primary nurse to respectfully integrate the individual stories of our residents
- Contributing to the design of the facility’s environment to create a homely and appealing atmosphere that meets our residents’ needs
Requirements
- Completed training as a nursing specialist (m/f/d)
- Completed further training as a gerontopsychiatric care and support practitioner according to AVPfleWoqG — ideally with relevant professional experience
- Empathy and sensitivity in interactions with our residents
- Reliability and team spirit — you enjoy working closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the team
- Flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility — you are prepared to adapt to varying needs and situations
- Motivation and willingness to learn — you are open to continuing education and wish to develop professionally on an ongoing basis
