About the role

  • You take overall responsibility for completing our new production building in Neuhausen ob Eck — including status and budget transparency, risk management, scope control, as well as on-time commissioning and handover to operations.
  • You will lead the complete production relocation from Tuttlingen to Neuhausen ob Eck and be responsible for the budget, priorities, relocation sequencing, and decisions regarding equipment transfer, qualification, and validation.
  • You will build a strong cross-functional relocation team and lead it across functions such as Operations, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • You will work closely with site management to integrate all technical, organizational, and operational requirements into building planning, layout design, and production concepts.
  • You ensure that equipment, processes, and procedures are fully validated, compliant, and operational.
  • You are responsible for the controlled production ramp-up to the defined output, quality, and service levels and then perform the formal handover to operations.
  • You combine construction progress and production relocation into an integrated, actionable master plan, identify and mitigate risks, prepare strategic decision papers for management, and drive structured change and stakeholder management.

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in complex project or transformation environments related to the commissioning of a new production facility
  • Proven experience in interdisciplinary multi-project management as well as in moderating workshops and decision-making formats
  • Strong analytical and methodological skills to quickly grasp complex interrelationships and to implement in a structured way
  • High degree of personal responsibility, an ownership mindset, and a strong results orientation
  • Professional, solution-focused, and respectful demeanor across all hierarchy levels
  • High resilience and confident handling of dynamic situations
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
