About the role

  • Overall technical responsibility: You will assume technical leadership for the portfolio in Video Product Technology Management and guide the development of specifications for products in imaging and operating room (OR) integration.
  • Strategic portfolio development: Together with Portfolio Strategy & Innovation Excellence and Solution Management, you define the strategic direction of the portfolio.
  • Leadership and development: As a leader, you manage and develop multiple Senior Directors and Directors and their teams.
  • Technical excellence & compliance: You ensure that technical specifications are market-leading and meet regulatory requirements worldwide.
  • Stakeholder/interface management: As the central point of contact, you act as a bridge between the Solutions and CRD teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Driving innovation: You promote innovation and ensure that technological advances are successfully translated into product development and solution management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10–15 years of experience in a technical industry, ideally in medical technology
  • 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role managing upstream or technical downstream functions
  • Knowledge of AI and innovation trends
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and solid knowledge of clinical applications, medical devices, and technologies
  • Excellent conflict management, risk management, and communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
