About the role

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of OR software integration projects, from early planning and requirements through go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Work closely with surgeons, theatre teams, hospital IT, biomedical engineers, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration of our OR platform into hospital IT ecosystems—delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communication
  • Drive Agile or hybrid delivery approaches
  • Translate clinical and surgical workflows into clear software requirements and user stories
  • Coordinate integrations using healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and IHE profiles
  • Ensure compliance with medical device software, IT network, and cybersecurity standards
  • Oversee site readiness, training, cutover, and go-live activities
  • Lead post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in software project management
  • Experience working in healthcare or MedTech, with an understanding of Software delivery lifecycles in regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of hospital IT environments and system integration and a knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
  • Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable engaging with clinical, technical, and executive audiences
  • Willingness to travel regularly to hospital sites nationwide
  • Cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (e.g. NHS DSPT, ISO 27001, IEC 62304, IEC 80001)
  • Networking concepts such as VLANs, QoS, and video streaming
  • Project management and integration testing tools (e.g. Postman, HL7 viewers)
