About the role
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and accountability.
- Define and implement overall QA strategy, including automation, regression, performance, and compliance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Engineering, Product, Business) to align testing efforts with business priorities and release plans.
- Establish metrics and dashboards to measure software quality, team performance, and release readiness.
- Oversee the design and execution of test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage across APIs, integrations, Salesforce, and customer-facing systems.
- Drive the adoption and expansion of automation frameworks and tools to increase test efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with development teams to establish best practices for testability, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Participate in roadmap and sprint planning, ensuring QA activities are well integrated into Agile delivery processes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, introducing improvements that elevate the organization’s quality practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong background in QA strategy and execution, with expertise in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Experience in the financial services domain and with Salesforce testing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AWS services and cloud-based application architectures.
- Proven success building and leading high-performing QA teams in Agile environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams and levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
