About the role

  • Position Overview We are seeking a Product Owner to help define and drive the development of a custom software solution – an internal order management system.\n
  • Location: Hybrid: 2 days onsite in Buckhead, GA\n
  • Key Responsibilities Define and document requirements for technical and data-driven solutions, ensuring clarity for development & engineering teams.\n
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and work with the Development team to define technical specifications to populate and manage the product backlog.\n
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, and business stakeholders) to understand and document the work that is needed.\n
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative product development.\n
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities for process and product optimization.\n
  • Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a product owner / analyst role for a technical or software implementation, Business Analyst, or related role.\n
  • Relevant experience in a technical development/engineering position may also be accepted.\n
  • Experience working within an Agile development framework.\n
  • Ability to write clear, concise user stories and define acceptance criteria for technical teams.\n
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical details into business-friendly language and vice versa.\n
  • Experience with JIRA\n
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to structure and analyze complex technical challenges.\n
  • User-focused mindset with a keen ability to balance technical feasibility with business value.\n
  • Nice-to-have Qualifications: Background in data or software engineering to better support technical conversations\n
  • Experience with order management or other logistics-type solutions\n
  • Product Analyst Training or Certificate
